Goldie Locked?

The 2010 winter olympics come to a close tomorrow evening, but not before the biggest event takes place. The final game between the mens US and Canadian team for the hockey gold medal should be an epic final showdown. I am ecstatic. The first game between these two teams just one week ago kept me captivated from beginning to end. I hope that this game will come somewhere close to that. However, as I predicted a week ago, I think that the Canadians are finally awake and ready to take on whatever they need to in order to take down their competition. My inner American spirit is calling out in contrast. I am so hopeful for an American victory that I cannot stand it. Now, I am not as crazy about it as say any Canadian is, but that does not mean that I cannot proudly cheer on my countries team. So, it will be with all of my might that I will sit on the couch and cheer the boys on.

I cannot even imagine what it takes to compete in anything at that sort of level, but it is pretty awesome trying. I can barely motivate myself to do even the most mundane of tasks on certain days, much less compete with the best athletes in the world on a daily basis like they do. I am inspired by the effort that it must take to do these things, but with that said I also admit that my current mental state is definitely lacking. I cannot wait until the moment that I find what it is that makes me tick. I cannot wait for that one moment that makes me realize that I am the best man that I can be and the man that I finally want to be.

So, tomorrow night, do whatever it takes to get yourself in a comfortable position to take in a masterpiece of a game. I guarantee that it will not only invigorate your senses and pride, but it will make you seek out the best in your personal life. These are the people who are achieving their dreams, and it should make you realize that the only difference between them and you is just a little bit more effort. Get out there and get your own personal medal, and dont forget to celebrate like a Canadian Female. Thanks for reading
